Project collaboration

Research, development and innovation – Wellbeing in society

The RDI unit within the Department of Health and Welfare is seeking opportunities to collaborate with new partners both locally and globally. As a project partner, Novia can contribute with a broad Nordic collaboration network and expertise in developing innovative and effective service models and methods to promote health and wellbeing in society.

Novia brings a Nordic perspective with a focus on civil rights, equality, and solidarity. We also have strong regional competence, as our department is located in two cities: Vaasa and Turku.

Our projects focus on increasing societal wellbeing and enabling a good life for all. This involves developing innovative methods, tools, and approaches for a sustainable, ethical, economical, efficient, and health-promoting working life and society, as well as improving sustainable solutions and optimal experiences for both service providers and users.

We have collaborated with universities and colleges, municipalities, organizations and associations, and producers of social and healthcare services and companies.

We are open to new collaborations and networks!

Our RDI team consists of project managers and project researchers who work on one or more projects. Lecturers are often also involved in projects, which allows us to maintain close contact between RDI and our educational programs.
