Jenny is a Project Researcher and Designer at Novia University of Applied Sciences. She has a background as a university lecturer, doctoral researcher in art history, illustrator, and graphic designer. She also holds a Master's-level University of Applied Sciences degree in Leadership and Service Design. Jenny has illustrated and designed children's and young adult books, easy-to-read literature, educational textbooks, pedagogical materials, and games. She has also created visual content for historical books, films, and museum exhibitions. In addition, she has facilitated art workshops for participants of all ages and has a strong interest in the use of creative methods in preventive and wellbeing-oriented work. Jenny is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in design research at Aalto University. Her research focuses on the design process behind the development and activities of KompetensLab, located in the Axelia building in Turku, Finland.
